Just as COVID hit, Namla came into being
When Rabah shared his idea with Younes and Imed, they were immediately excited about the potential of this platform.
They saw the growing demand for edge computing and knew that a solution like this could be transformative for businesses. So, the three friends decided to leave their corporate jobs and focus on building the Namla platform. They knew it would be a lot of hard work, but they were determined to make it a success.
They named their company Namla, which is the Arabic word for ant, a tiny creature that can lift up to 5000 times its own body weight. The name was chosen as an analogy to the edge, which is a powerful and resilient force that can be leveraged to drive innovation and growth.
Inspired by the determination and strength of ants, the team set out to build a platform that would make it easy for developers and network administrators to deploy and manage applications at the edge. They leveraged the power of Kubernetes and SD-WAN based networking technologies to create a solution that was both powerful and easy to use.
